I was a patient in the Maxillofacial unit at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham for the treatment of a lump in my neck. The standard of care I received was very good - I was most impressed by the civility and respect shown by all doctors and nursing staff.
The consultant, Mr Hollows, came almost immediately when sent for by a junior doctor to examine my neck. He was very friendly and down-to-earth in his explanations, and was very reassuring that the condition was not ominous.
"Very good care at QMC Maxillofacial unit"
