What I liked
The plesent and friendly staff who did everything to keep my nerves to a minimum. The fact that I was treated like an equal and that I was involved in evey aspect of my treatment and care.
What could be improved
That the no eating rule in the Daycase Surgery waiting room rule had been enforced, as those, who were vistors waiting to collect patients were both eating and drinking. This made me both uncomfertable and annoyed as I hadn't, nor was I allowed to eat or drink anything since the night before.I believe that here patient comfert was not upheld
Although the nurse which attended to me upon my arrival was both plesent and friendly she seemed a little lost, as she told me this was her first time on the Daycase ward and had very little knowledge of where things were kept or how the ward was normaly run.
Anything else?
Overall a plesent stay however small improvements could have been made to make myself and other patients more comfertable.
