"Follow Up Care"

About: Great Ormond Street Hospital Central London Site

My daughter has been a long standing patient at the hospital both in-patient and out-patient and it is like two different worlds. when an in-patient on Rainforrest ward the nurses and ward staff were second to none but once discharged and waiting to recieve follow up care then you become just a number. calls and emails are not responded to and appointment created and cancelled with no advice given. Unfortunately I am tied to the hospital by need for the specialist treatment my daughter requires. I most certainly would not recommend them for anything other than emergency treatment. Too many doctors from different departments don't want to liaise with each other and would rather just try and force their views
