"Gratuously and offencively rude"

About: Kingston Hospital

I am really sorry to have to say this as in other departments I have had exemplary attention and treatment. The Orthopedic Consultant there hardly spoke to me rather to the student in attendance. I had 3 mins max 'personal contact'. When told I had a severely arthritic hip and needed a full replacement and 'it will be 4 months.' I started to ask...got interrupted with:'You have a severely arthritic hip, you either have it done or you don't. If you don't it will get worse and you will end up a cripple! My student will give you a book - good by'. The letter to my GP claimed that 'I have been through the risks and benefits of surgery with him'. That is patently not true. 4 months on having heard nothing further I rang. Was told to ring Epsom. I did. They have never heard of me. I'm in continuous pain and as yet no prospect of relief. Please chose elsewhere.
